Abstract

summarise. overview. condense. present. write. represent. effect. thought. idea. expand.

Noun: Something that summarises or concentrates the essentials of a larger thing or several things. Adjective: existing in thought or as an idea but not having a physical or concrete existence.

To write about this project is like searching for the eye of the storm, looking for the centre - the point by which the storm rotates - and then on finding it, realising this point does not define the entirety. That each vantage point offers us a different understanding of what that storm holds and is. This project is a complex whole that once we start to try and consider and convey, we become entangled in, adding to its form. It is not possible to reduce this project down to one succinct thought, idea, or explanation; even the abstract becomes abstract. The writing can only offer some of its parts, and the sum of this resides somewhere between this, you and everything else.
